A typhoon is hitting Katy. Typhoon Texas Waterpark’s grand opening is this Saturday just in time for summer fun. Located outside the Katy Mills Mall the 25 acre park features 9 water rides, 30 slides, BBQ restaurant and more.
Tickets range from $33 to a season pass for $99.99.
Head on over to Discovery Green on Saturday for “Daybreak.”
This one-day multi-cultural music, art & mixology festival is a great way to connect with people and celebrate life!
Houston’s top DJ’s will be on the main stage.
There will also be kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sumo suits, giant kick ball, bubble soccer, flip cup, beer pong & more!
It’s from 12 to 9pm.
Tickets range from free to 200 bucks depending on what you want to do.
Space City Comic Con
Head to NRG center for space city comic con.
This is houston’s hometown convention with plenty of sci-fi, fantasy and gaming celebrities, cos-play and more.
William Shatner will even be there.
One day tickets start at $30.
Dancin in the Street, Motown
This Memorial Day weekend, Miller Outdoor Theatre is taking it back to Hitsville, as Houston`s most happening entertainers, cover your favorite soul music classics.
Groove down memory lane with “Dancin in the Street — Motown and more review”.
It’s all weekend starting at 8-15 pm.
Tickets are free unless you want covered seating.
Memorial Day Flag Placement
Let’s not forget our service men and women on this Memorial Day weekend.
Sunday from 7 to 11 am join “Grace under Fire” and other veteran agencies to place flags at the Houston National Cemetery for our lost comrades and recognize their service in honor of Memorial Day.
