LOS ANGELES - There's nothing like the power of the internet and social media.  The most credible source of information, right?  True or not, news spreads fast on the information superhighway.  Something actor and musician Jack Black knows a thing about that after this past weekend.  His band, Tenacious D's Twitter account was hacked and someone tweeted that Black was dead at 46.

After the band regained control of the account, they tweeted that Jack Black is alive and well, calling the hoax a sick prank.  Twitter suspended the account of the person suspected to be responsible.

So, before you post your condolences online, double check your facts, because rumors and hacks are replacing truth and facts in the internet age.
