ORLANDO, FL - At least two victims of the nation`s worst mass shooting have ties to Texas.

Stanley Almodovar III was a 23-year-old pharmacy tech living in Clermont, Florida. He spent much of the night posting videos on SnapChat, not knowing they would be his last.

Almodovar`s boyfriend, Don Torres, lives in Sugar Land. He`s a hip hop artist who goes by D*AUN.

All Torres has left are the last few text messages the two exchanged before Almodovar was gunned down in that Orlando nightclub. A grieving Torres plans to attend the funeral in Florida.

Another on the list of victims is Frank Hernandez who went by the last name Escalante. The 27-year-old was a native of Weslaco, Texas, a small town in the lower Rio Grande Valley. He moved to Orlando about three years ago to manage a clothing store.

An LGBTQ and justice advocacy group in the valley reacted to the tragedy on Facebook. “A member of our LGBTQ Rio Grande Valley family lost his life. Rest in power, Frank.”

GoFundMe pages have been set up for both men to help the families with burial costs:

With both men so young and so full of life, planning their funerals was the furthest thing on their loved ones’ minds.
