Spring firefighters rescue man trapped high above ground in car dealership sign

HARRIS COUNTY — Firefighters have rescued a man who was trapped inside a sign dozens of feet above ground in northwest Harris County.

A maintenance man, who was overcome by heat, became trapped inside of a car dealership sign on Highway 249 and Highway 99 Tuesday afternoon.

The man was brought down by firefighters from the Spring Fire Department.

Cypress Creek EMS was on scene to provide immediate medical attention.
