1 dead, 1 injured after crash involving Aldine ISD school bus near Humble

HOUSTON — One person was killed and another was injured after an accident involving a school bus near Humble.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. on FM 1960 and Lee Road.

According to Precinct 4 deputy constables, an Aldine ISD school bus driver was heading to pick up kids for summer school when the bus was involved in an accident involving two other vehicles.

One driver died while being airlifted to the hospital.  An occupant of an SUV was transported to Houston Northwest Hospital in stable condition.

There were no students on board the bus at the time of the crash, and the female bus driver was uninjured.


The cause of the crash is under investigation.
