HARRIS COUNTY - Welcoming people might say to a guest; "My house is your house". But we're certain that gracious offer is off the table to a complete stranger in the middle of the night. A Houston-area family fought off an intruder who broke into their home overnight and climbed into bed with them.

Harris County officers were called to the home in question, to find 52-year-old George Smith being held by the father of the house and his 24-year-old son. According to the cops, Smith claimed he was intoxicated and simply slipped into the wrong house. The family finally became aware of their uninvited guest, when Smith allegedly got into bed on the mom's side and started pulling down her pants. Dad called for Junior, and the two of them made sure smith stayed put until the cops arrived.

Smith was charged with burglary the intent to commit assault. Now, he might find himself in another home that's not his, the "big" house.
