HOUSTON -- At least 16 people at Hermann Park were transported to the hospital Thursday due to a possible drug overdose, Houston police confirm.

Officials from the Houston Fire Department say the group overdosed on Kush which is a synthetic marijuana.

David Persse, the EMS director for HFD, says, "It appears it was a combination of smoking Kush, a street drug, and possibly also the heat."
