FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - An inmate pulls off quite a disappearing act from a Ft. Lauderdale courtroom.  Dayonte' Resiles somehow broke free from his shackles, escaping custody just before his pre-trial hearing for murder charges.

"He was dressed in black and white garb, which indicates that he's a maximum security prisoner," said Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.

Police say Resiles made out of the Broward County Courthouse undetected, leaving his prison suit and chains behind.

Sheriff Israel added, "We believe he defeated the perimeter before we even got in place.  We believe he exited the north end of the courthouse."

Surveillance video shows Resiles in plain clothes dashing through what appears to be a backdoor leading outside.
