HOUSTON — There are amazing people in this world, who do amazing things. None more amazing than patients of terminal illness, managing the best way they can to take life by the horns and live it.

And for every superhero there's always a sidekick. That's where the doctors and nurses of Houston Hospice come in and handle patient care.

Thuy Hanh Trinh's the associate medical director at Houston Hospice. She said easing the minds of families and helping patients be more comfortable is why she does what she does.

Trinh understands that patients are people who make their own decision, regardless if she agrees or not, but she'll never shy away from giving friendly advice.
