HOUSTON — It has been a week since the passing of ‘Radio God’ and NewsFix family icon, Jim Pruett, who died of heart failure on Sept. 2. He was 72 years old.

Before Pruett was a gun store owner and NewsFix icon, he and the late Mark Stevens ruled the Houston airwaves in the ’80s and ’90s at 101 KLOL. In his honor, we are taking a look back at some of his memorable “Bullet Points” segments.

Rest in peace “Big Jim,” you will be truly missed.
