Gunshot victim found dead in SW home

HOUSTON– A man was found dead in his southwest Houston home Saturday evening.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a “man down” call at Sparrow Street and Fairland Drive around 6 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the front door partially open and could see a man lying on the floor.

According to HPD Homicide, the man had been dead for three to four days from several gunshot wounds. The door was not broken or kicked in.

Homicide is investigating with very little details and are seeking public help.
