HOUSTON — Beyonce's father, Matthew Knowles, called him incredible and Newsfix's JJ Simmons agrees. Missouri City native Tariq Aidid first started playing guitar as a young teen and now a 22-year-old man, he's perfected his craft.

Aidid credits his natural music ability to his father but says it was Michael Jackson, Prince and Lenny Kravitz that led him to pick up an instrument. His debut single 'Satisfaction' is available on iTunes and the pop funk tune is sure to have you moving and signing along.

Often known as the station's local music know-it-all, Amir Diamond from 97.9 The Box describes Aidid's talent as special and says the first time he saw him perform the entire room was under his spell. Aidid's talents may be displayed on an even larger than life stage come January.

Aidid is auditioning to perform at Super Bowl Live which is a 10 day fan festival leading up to #SB51. The fan fest will be located  in and around Discovery Green park in Downtown Houston and we hope to see Aidid representing H-Town!
