HOUSTON -- Houstonians filled Montrose for the 50th annual Original Greek Fest this weekend.

The festival has no shortage of delicious food, wine, live dancing,  live music and children’s activities.  If that doesn't make you shout "Opa!” The gyros, baklava, spanakopita, pizza, and souvlaki will.

“Over 3 days we sling over 14,000 gyros, 22,00 souvlaki, about 20 pieces of baklava and about 14,000 dinner plates. Also, we sell the most Boutari wines than any other entity in the entire country throughout the entire year" says festival chair Dana Kantalis.

Clearly, food and fun isn't "Greek" to these folks.
