HOUSTON – Local high school students and architects have a “can do” attitude when it comes to tackling hunger in Houston.

32 teams are competing in the 6th Annual Canstruction Houston at CityCentre, Saturday. They will build amazing and creative structures using only canned goods. And it's all for a good cause.

Once there’s the “decanstruction” all of the cans are donated to the Houston Food Bank just in time for the holidays.

Maggie Flecknoe, from EyeOpener, has more on the event and how you can make a difference, one can at a time.

And if you’d like to check out the Canstruction structures head over to CityCentre, Saturday, for self-guided tours from 4-6pm.
