HOUSTON — Two brave soldiers are sleeping a little easier after Veterans Day thanks to Gallery Furniture and Mental Health America of Greater Houston.

Marvin Gary and Tony Alexander received brand spanking new furniture from Mattress Mack, himself!

After 20 years of serving his country, Gary retired from the United States Army in 2010. He said he wants to make sure his daughter experiences a house that feels like a home, and what better way to do that than giving her a new place to lay her head.

Both veterans are a part of the Veterans' Treatment Court Program operated through MHA. The program targets veterans who were disabled while in the line of duty. The mission of the program is to increase access to mental health and addiction treatment by diverting veterans directly into VA treatment, improving overall mental wellness and providing the structure for a successful re-entry into the community.

Gallery Furniture salutes all veterans and God Bless America!
