Two children killed; 4 injured in 3-vehicle accident in NE Harris County

HOUSTON – Two children were killed and four others were injured after a 3-vehicle accident in northeast Harris County Saturday evening.

According to deputies, the incident occurred on FM 1960 at Grey Fox around 7:00 p.m.

A man was driving a white SUV westbound on 1960 at a high speed, and began weaving in and out of traffic.

The driver lost control due to the wet roads, and spun out of control into oncoming lanes.

One female in a Mazda car slammed into the white SUV, spun around and a red Dodge SUV slammed into her car.

There was a family of five in the red SUV, two adults, a 14-year-old, a 7-year-old and another teenage boy.

All five were transported to various hospitals, where the 7-year-old and 14-year-old were pronounced dead.

The teenage boy and two adults were in serious but stable condition.

The female driver in the Mazda was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The man driving the white SUV, who cause the accident was not injured. He was arrested and is being investigated for possible DWI.
