Video released of suspects wanted in fatal shooting of security guard at illegal Houston game room

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Investigators are searching for several men accused of fatally shooting a 59-year-old security guard at an illegal game room in north Harris County, authorities said.

Investigators said Enrique Garcia was working at a game room in the 500 block of Dale Street around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance video, which shows a white-colored minivan approaching the trailer before three armed men jump out and start running toward the entrance. All three men were carrying handguns.

Garcia was found dead when officers arrived.

Following the robbery, investigators said the men climbed back into the white van and drove off. While trying to exit the parking lot, the driver struck a pole and the tore the sliding passenger door from the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-274-9100 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000 for tips leading to an arrest.
