HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper has been suspended after allegedly soliciting a woman for sex, according to authorities.

Michael Dwayne Fillmore has been charged with prostitution.

Specific details have not yet been released, but DPS officials did confirm that Fillmore was off-duty when he was arrested for the offense on Tuesday.

Officials said the case is being referred to the Office of Inspector General.
