No suspects after shooting victim found along North Freeway, police say

HOUSTON — A 31-year-old man is expected to survive his injuries after being found with a gunshot wound along the North Freeway, the Houston Police Department said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday near Airline Drive.

Investigators identified the victim as Abel Ramos. He was found inside a red pickup truck and had been shot at least once.

The police department said there are no known suspects at this time.
