HPD investigating fiery car crash that left one person dead

HOUSTON - Houston police are still investigating what led to a fatal car fire early Sunday morning in south east Houston.

Investigators say a car crashed into a telephone pole at Clinton Drive near Hirsch Road and burst into flames.

After officials put out the fire, police found a dead body inside the car.

Houston police and arson Investigators are now piecing together what may have caused the fatal crash.
