HISD officials, city leaders reveal state accountability ratings

HOUSTON — The Texas Education Agency alongside Houston ISD leaders held a press conference Wednesday announcing the official release of district’s academic accountability ratings.

HISD received a letter grade under the new A-F rating system and campuses will earn a rating of “Met Standard” or “Improvement Required” based on performance in the 2017-2018 school year.
