Woman stabbed in chest drives herself to gas station for help in SW Houston, police say

HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating after a local woman drove herself to help after being stabbed in the chest early Thursday.

Officers responded to a Shell gas station along the Southwest Freeway service road and W. Bellfort at 1 a.m.

The victim was reportedly stabbed elsewhere before driving to the location for help.

She was taken to a local hospital in serious but stable condition when first responders arrived.
