How can public schools be more inclusive of all cultural holidays?

HOUSTON — An elementary school principal in Omaha, Nebraska is on administrative leave after asking teachers to not celebrate Christmas in classrooms.

The public school educator claims she wanted to be inclusive and culturally sensitive of all her students. However, do you think banning Christmas and all things associated with the holiday was the right move?
