We're learning a lesson about flavor today! Bernie's Burger Bus is taking our taste buds to school!

Owner and chef of Bernie's Burger Bus, Justin Turner takes us down memory lane of how his culinary journey got started.

Bernie's Burger Bus — named after Justin's grandfather — has served innovative craft burgers, fries and milkshakes to Houston-area patrons since 2010. The business started as an iconic yellow school bus that Turner converted into a food truck.

The collegiate-themed — "detention," "the class clown," "lunch lady fries" — menu features burgers ground in-house from prime cuts, freshly baked buns and scratch-made condiments, as well as a variety of hand-cut fries and milkshakes. In 2014, Turner debuted his flagship restaurant in Bellaire, followed by locations in Katy and the Heights in 2015 and 2016. A fourth location in Missouri City opened in February 2019 and features a drive-thru window and curbside service.
