    PLANTERSVILLE, Tx – On Facebook, the Plantersville-Stoneham Volunteer Fire Department shares messages of grief for 20-year-old firefighter Harley Mullenix, killed Saturday when the car she was riding in was hit from behind. “With a broken heart we say goodbye to one of our own today,” reads the post of Fire Chief Michael Briggs.     WASHINGTON, DC – The Federal Aviation Administration says they want passengers to keep e-cigarettes out of checked baggage. They say the devices are a fire hazard in the plane’s cargo compartment. FAA reports several incidents where the heating element in e-cigarettes have accidentally activated and either overheated or caught fire. They recommends passengers carry e-cigs in their carry-on baggage. That way, overheating or fire can be seen and snuffed out quickly.
