LOGAN COUNTY, WV – As the memories of Halloween 2015 fade, the case of a West Virginia attorney’s fear of spiders revs up.
Apparently, so frightened of the Halloween spider display at his office, assistant prosecutor Chris White pulled his weapon. He didn’t actually shoot his gun, but according to the lead prosecutor (White’s boss) he did pull it, point it at the fake spiders and threaten to shoot them.
Apparently, White warned the secretaries who decorated the office about his arachnophobia.
Now, White has been suspended while the criminal investigation continues and — as in every employee’s worst nightmare — his own boss could be responsible for prosecuting him!
