HOUSTON - Nearly 100 Houston residents don't have homes for the holidays after a four alarm fire on Tuesday.

At this point it's not clear how the fire at the Palms on Westheimer Apartments started, but it destroyed around 40 units between two buildings.

One firefighter suffered smoke inhalation but he's said to be okay. No one else was hurt.

HFD's arson department is investigating.
