Bellaire H.S. volleyball player and older sister killed in Corpus Christi crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A heartbreaking loss for one local family after their two daughters were killed in a car crash near Corpus Christi yesterday.

Jade Robinson a Bellaire High School volleyball player and her older sister were killed in a head on crash while driving through Corpus Christi.

According to the Corpus Christi Courier the sisters, along with two other girls, were driving on highway 77 near County Road 73 when they lost control and hit an 18-wheeler head-on.

The other two girl were taken to the hospital. At last check in critical condition.

Grief counselors will be at the school today.
