NEW YORK, NY – Going to the Super Bowl can be a dream come true, but that dream can be crushed with a counterfeit ticket.

Thanks to a sting led by New York City cops and D.A. officials, a bunch of those bogus tickets are now off the market.

Cops say Damon Daniels and Eugene Fladger were caught hawking phony tickets out of Queens and Bronx apartments to unknowing customers all over the country.

The tickets were said to be surprisingly real-looking, and they would even have scanned at entry.

The alleged scammers were nabbed at a White Castle in the Bronx.

Now charged with trademark counterfeiting and possession of a forged instrument, it’s safe to say these guys won’t be attending any Super Bowl parties.
