HUEYTOWN, AL – No one likes those unexpected surprises in the bathroom, but this surprise was definitely something an Alabama man didn’t see coming.

Willie Harris was at work when he went to the restroom and found a four-foot long snake coiled up in the toilet. At first he thought it was a joke, but quickly realized it was anything but. So he called his boss and they called 911.

Willie snapped a picture of the snake and sent it to police. When they arrived, they had a plan. Officer Alice Thompson grabbed two batons and fished the snake out of the toilet. She then grabbed it by its head and took it out.

The snake is believed to have been a poisonous Cottonmouth and it was released back into the wild.
