ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Mexico has its notorious escape artist in El Chapo “Shorty” Guzman.

And New Mexico has its slippery senorita.

She’s Melissa Dominguez who’s back behind bars after her fifth bust in five months.

This time she was carrying a gun when Albuquerque cops nabbed her while unloading stolen goods at an abandoned house.

Cops hope to keep her a while. She’s slipped away from them twice in the last few months.

In September, a Bernalillo County spokesperson cut short her TV interview when Dominguez slipped her cuffs at the cop shop and made a run for it. She slowed Dominguez enough to let the officer catch her.

In November, police arrested her at a bank after she allegedly cashed a bad check.

They cuffed her, but she got out of them and made off with the cop’s SUV and led Albuquerque cops on a wild three-mile chase before crashing her vehicle.

The bruised Dominguez cried as cops cuffed her, but this time she was going nowhere, except back to the jailhouse to get another picture taken to add to her growing felonious photo album.
