HOUSTON, TX - Hello, goblins and ghouls. Are you ready for Halloween? Or do you think it's still kind of early?
The National Retail Association says the average American is going to spend around $75 during All Hallows' Eve this year. That's down 4% from the 2014 season.
The association says 69 million Americans will dress up to celebrate and 20 million will dress up their pets. Americans with minions of their own will spend about $20 to costume their kids. Scare seekers will spend $2.1 billion on candy alone.
And get this, they’ll spend only $20 to fill the front yard with creepy crawlies.
