HOUSTON — It’s not every day that you see men on the street with blood-stained crotches, but then again, it’s not every day we discuss the ethics of circumcision!
The group “Bloodstained Men and their Friends” is in Houston to make a hard push for genital autonomy, saying children should have the right to their whole, intact bodies and anything less is a “human rights violation.”
The group says circumcision rates have been slashed in recent years (CDC data shows newborn circumcision has gone down about six percent in the last three decades), but that’s not making the group go soft on the issue.
Long story short, they want you to cut it out. Well, you know what we mean.
