MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ca.- Google's unveiled a new pet for the ages called "Spot," the robot dog! But the new invention certainly has some people barking online! The four-legged, 160-lb. mechanical canine can run, climb stairs and hills and is remarkably difficult to knock over.

In fact, its inventors were so certain that the dog can't be knocked over, they gave it a few kicks. Even though it's not a real dog, the kicks are causing quite the stir online. But come on, it's not alive! But perhaps there's an even more realistic scenario. Crazy as it sounds, there's talk that these types of robots could be trained and used on the frontlines of the battlefield, in place of our troops. But with any new technology, could those type of robots be hacked and turned against us?
