PRAIRIE GROVE, AR - An Arkansas high school teacher faces something much worse than detention after she got busted drinking with her students.

Melissa Stewart taught math at Prairie Grove High School outside of Fayetteville. Police say the 43-year-old bought booze, such as Keystone Light and Fireball Whisky, when she partied with high schoolers at least four times.

Investigators say Stewart's weekend tutoring sessions stretched from early this spring to as recently as Halloween, ending only when a parent tipped off police.

"We do not have a history of this and we don't see this as something that's going to tarnish our reputation or in the future become more of a problem," said Prairie Grove Police Sgt. Mark Scates.

Sounds like Stewart's next math lesson might be on how to calculate her restitution.
