BEAUMONT, Tx. — According to WalletHub, Beaumont, Texas is the least educated out of a possible 150 cities.

The WalletHub statistics come from the percentage of Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree holders, along with other details.

Larry Allen, a professor of economics at Lamar University in Beaumont, says, “Beaumont has historically been an industrial town and people here earn very high salaries without a college degree.”
