SACRAMENTO, CA – Ever think about what you’d do if a bad guy broke in? It’s sort of a situation a Sacramento woman found herself in recently. Only when she woke up in the middle of the night, the intruder was asleep, on her couch.

Teryl Parnell found some of her valuables on the floor beside him, and her leftover Chinese food was half eaten!

Clearly this dude crossed the line.

So to keep him from running, she offered him a cup of coffee. But instead of coming back with a mug, she had a machete.

“I said you need to sit right here, and you need to sit and wait for the cops, because you’re going to jail,” she said.

When police arrived, they arrested 25-year-old Christopher Weaver. He ended up getting released on bail, but was reportedly picked up again not long after for driving a stolen vehicle.

Guess the car owner didn’t have a machete.
