Bus driver attacked with a rock

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The wheels on this city bus came to a screeching halt in Albuquerque, New Mexico after the driver was attacked with a rock.

Surveillance video inside the bus shows the driver, Robert Gallegos, stop to pick up a passenger, but he didn’t pay his fare. Police say the man spit on the driver then smashed his head with a rock.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Michael Fisher, shouted at the driver and then stormed off.

As his head was bleeding, Gallegos pointed to his attacker.

Two passengers then took action leave the bus and chase down Fisher.

Turns out Fisher was so mad at how the driver supposedly treated his wife and child. Fisher’s wife accused Gallegos of racial profiling.

Meanwhile her husband got a ride to jail, he’s been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
