LONDON, ENGLAND – With Easter just around the corner, fans of the ubiquitous Cadbury Creme Eggs are having a meltdown over changes to the beloved product. The company announced that in the UK they will no longer use the dairy milk chocolate that Cadbury is famous for to make the shells of the obnoxiously sweet confections. Also, you will only find 5 in a box now instead of 6.
People took to twitter to express their outrage saying, “Leave our creme eggs alone… Stop destroying our childhood memories.”
Now it seems Cadbury is walking on eggshells around its loyal customers. We will see if public pressure forces them to reverse the decision or if fans of the Easter treats will remain shell shocked.
