SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A San Francisco man is celebrating his luck after finding a $20 on the street. He used that money to buy a couple scratch-its.
“”I took out my car key scratched it and I was like, “Oh, I don’t know if this is real or not, but I think we just hit a million,” said Hubert Tang.
The bartender wasn’t sure what to do with the ticket, so he slept on it. When he took it to the lottery office the next morning, they confirmed he’d won a $1 million jackpot.
Tang says he’ll keep is bartending job and his winnings will go into savings, except for one little splurge.
“We gotta have at least a little celebration dinner kinda thing, right?” said Tang. “Mom could definitely look forward to a new car or something.”
Tang says he’s also toying with the idea of randomly leaving $20 around San Francisco so others can test their luck like he did.
