TORONTO – Just when you thought you had enough of Toronto’s “hot-mess” Mayor, there’s now going to be a musical about Rob Ford.
Oh yes!

Rob Ford impersonators, this is your time to shine.

An open casting call for the “Rob Ford the Musical: The Birth of a Ford Nation” will be held at Toronto’s Second City Training Center, Monday.

Producers say it’s a “color blind casting” and that a resemblance to the embattled Toronto mayor isn’t required.

Hopefuls must perform a one-minute comedy monologue and one pop, rock or comedy song. a headshot and resume are also required.

The stage show by Toronto-based Brett McCaig is described as “an unabashed, take-no-prisoners comedy” about Ford’s personal and political journey.

They definitely have plenty of material.

It’s set to open September 16th.

The real Rob Ford is currently in rehab,maybe he’ll be out in time for opening night.
