IOWA CITY, IA – A cheating ring at the University of Iowa pulled off quite the stunt.

A statement from the university says over 30 students were taking online courses hired Chinese companies to take the tests for them.

Students were busted when the school hired a proctoring company which double-checked student’s identities.

It proved the test-takers were not who they said they were.

The university says most students involved in the scandal were from China, and have admitted to hiring the companies.

Now, they’re facing consequences ranging from suspension to expulsion. Maybe this will teach them a lesson!
