HOUSTON, Tx- The City of Houston and Harris County have activated their Emergency Operations Centers to a level 3. They are monitoring the threat of heavy rains and possible flooding approaching Houston from the north.

This storm has generated wind damage and high rainfalls in Waller and Montgomery counties, including Conroe, The Woodlands, and Magnolia.

The city is asking residents to stay off the roads if possible as street flooding will occur. Houston is under a flash flood watch until 10 p.m. Thursday.

If you have to travel all remember turn around, don’t drown!
