HOUSTON, TX - There`s nothing like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in H-town. That is, except the cleanup. That takes a real cowboy or girl. The rodeo says they successfully entertained 2.46 million people in 2016. Meaning attendance was down than in previous years. Was it the concert line-up? The rain?

Another number to consider, Especially during clean up. What happens to all the trash? The rodeo says, in 2015, the recycling committee recycled about a quarter of a million pounds of cardboard, about 50 thousand pounds of plastic and aluminum, and over 27,000 pounds of glass. Now that is a number we can live with.
