HOUSTON, TX — Some colleges are lending a helping hand to their students by assisting in paying student loan bills!
But not so fast, they’re only helping for a limited time!
It’s called the ‘Loan Repayment Assistance Program,’where certain schools help cover student loan bills until the student gets a job that pays well enough for them to pay off their own loans.
Assistance would only be given to a graduate who is working at least 30 hours a week.
Law schools have offered a program like this for a long time. It’s mostly private colleges adopting this program for all areas of study.
It’s likely a good way to draw in more students.
