HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A fight between parents ended with the dad killing his son, according to Harris County sheriff's deputies.

Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, a 911 call came in about a disturbance at 622 Gordon Dr. in the Bear Creek Meadows subdivision in west Harris County. Deputies say Ulysses Beaudoin had just returned home and his girlfriend was waiting in her car outside. He got in an argument with his wife and his 22-year-old son Ulysses Nelson tried to intervene. Investigators say Beaudoin shot his son, killing him, and then started threatening his younger son, who ran to a neighbor's house to call for help.

"He was just crying hysterically saying that somebody shot his brother and he had to hurry up and call 911 and go back and talk to his brother, make sure everything was OK," said a neighbor.

Nelson died at the scene. Deputies say Beaudoin jumped in his girlfriend's car and took off, but they tracked him down at a nearby gas station. Homicide investigators say he'll be charged with murder.
