CUIDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO - In the world of illegal drugs, there are Kingpins, and one man`s crown shines a bit brighter than most. His name is Joaquin Guzman. You probably know him as El Chapo and, he’s coming to America!  On Monday, a Mexican federal judge ruled "Shorty" can be extradited to the United States.

The Mexican drug lord has  been in a maximum-security prison in Central Mexico since January.   No word when the extradition to the US would actually take place.

Home for El Chapo is now just across the border in Cuidad Juarez in what’s ranked as the worst prison in Mexico. This brings him closer to extradition to the US.

El Chapo faces charges ranging from money laundering to drug trafficking, kidnapping and murder in  Chicago, Miami, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.  He was the world`s most wanted drug lord until his capture in January, six months after he broke out of a high security prison in Central Mexico through a mile-long tunnel. And that was the second time he broke out successfully.

Let`s hope all his great escapes south of the border are historia. If not, there could be hysteria north of the border.
