KIEV, UKRAINE – All eyes on the crisis in Ukraine. More than just a cause for concern; it’s a cause for action.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met face to face with his Russian counterpart Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Paris.

The sit-down was one of the latest promising signs of diplomacy efforts as tensions remain high in Ukraine urging direct talks between Russia and Ukraine.

Meanwhile, House Speaker John Boeher says Congress is working to “strengthen the president’s hand” and blames President Obama’s foreign policy stance for setting the wrong tone with Russian President Vladimir.

Boehner has called on President Obama to approve more permits in the u-s for natural gas producers.

Boehner says Putin has leverage over eastern Europe because Russia exports so much oil and gas to neighboring countries.

And Boehners not alone, being “put off” by Putin.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a comment comparing Putin’s moves in Ukraine to those of Adolf Hitler.

According to the long beach press-telegram, Clinton said Putin’s rush to protect anyone of Russian descent in Ukraine’s Crimea region is similar to what Hitler did to protect Germans before WWII.

Senator John McCain fired off a tweet saying Clinton was “right on” with the comparison.

And in Kiev, Ukraine; activists and several children prepare packages with toy soldiers and guns to send Putin’s way.

The children are hopeful Putin will get their message loud and clear, to play with toys, not real people. Yea, good luck with that.
