PORT ALBERNI, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Remember the face on Mars, or what`s supposed to be the face on Mars?

Canada has its own mystery face. It`s a 7-foot tall face carved into a rock on Reeks Island.

A kayaker discovered it in 2008.

The face may look man-made, but Canadian park officials aren`t sure.

Alan Latourelle is the CEO of Parks Canada. ‘I think we all want to understand the origins of the stone face, but there’s also the mystery. It’s also part of the learning and of going into the age of the Broken Islands group.’

Yeah, for all we know, it could be a portal connecting Canada to Mars.
