HOUSTON, TX – Ask just about anyone who grew up in Houston, and chances are there’s a memory attached to the Astrodome.

Now, those memories are being packed up and loaded into the back of trucks. Piece by piece, seat by seat, as we bid farewell to the 8th wonder of the world.

Thousands of seats were pre-purchased by fans in November. The going price was $200 a pair, and picked up starting Monday at Reliant Park.

The Houston Astrodome may be on its final chapter, but we can only hope the new locations of these seats where ever they may be,  will help keep the story of the Astrodome alive forever.
